Before adopting a MOOLI, you’ll need a place to keep it.

This is where a cryptocurrency wallet comes in.

For MOOLI, we’ll be using Xaman Wallet.

What Is Xaman Wallet?

Xaman is a mobile cryptocurrency wallet designed for the XRP Ledger.

Best of all, you don’t need to be an expert to get started.

How to Download Xaman

1. Visit the official website.

Head over to:

2. Download the application.

Choose the version for your iPhone or Android device.

3. Open Xaman.

Follow the instructions to create a new XRP Ledger account.

4. Set up your account security.

The application will guide you through securing your wallet.

Depending on the wallet setup process, you’ll receive secret recovery information that allows you to regain access to your account.

Your wallet’s recovery information is extremely important.

Think of it as the master key to everything inside your digital backpack.

If someone gets hold of it, they could potentially steal your assets.

Currently, the network requires:

• 1 XRP as the base account reserve.
• 0.2 XRP for an additional NFT ownership page, when applicable.
• A small amount for network transaction fees.

These reserves aren’t marketplace fees. They’re amounts of XRP your wallet must retain to meet the network’s requirements.

For your first MOOLI, having approximately 7 XRP available is a reasonable starting point, assuming the mint costs exactly 5 XRP and there are no additional marketplace charges.

Always check the final transaction details and current reserve requirements before proceeding.

Where Can You Buy XRP?

You can purchase XRP from a reputable cryptocurrency exchange that operates in your country.

Once you’ve purchased your XRP, you’ll need to transfer it into Xaman.
